Watch this space

I've been working on a series of canvas', with the hope of having them put on display somewhere. . This is one of the testers. I'm only gonna put this one up for now, so that if or when they do go up, people haven't previewed them all online first.

The rest of them so far are in black and white, whereas this has the red and blue mix in the background. . . .

First ever Mini Munny!

So, I've been meaning to do this for some time now. After seeing another local, very talented artist and friend, Hugh 'Dred' Rose, do very well in an international competition (he came 2nd), it inspired me to give this a go.
It's nowhere near the standard of Dred's work, but I am quite happy with the outcome.
I used Posca pens straight onto the vinyl. Something I wouldn't recommend until you've learnt this one lesson . ALWAYS PRIME THE VINYL FIRST! The black inparticular was very flakey (can be seen in a few small areas).
Anyhow, hear it is. apologies for the photo quality, I had to use my phone.

Apologies if anyone out there is waiting to see more. ny sister has run off on holiday and taken the good camera with her. . i have 4 canvas's and a mini munny (when it finally dries) to put up. you'll just have to be patient. should be another week or so . xx

ABOUT AN HOUR ALBUM ARTWORK

So I've been absent from the blog for a little while. There's only two followers so I'm sure it hasn't frustrated anyone. Despite my absence from the blog, I haven't been doing nothing.
I've been working on this for some friends of mine whose band has been slaving away in the studio writing and recording recently. They asked me to produce some images for the front and back cover. The whole thing has been constructed and ordered now, so should be available to the public very soon. Please show some love to the band. and of course the artwork.

I'm this very second about to settle down to my sketchbook, so hopefully will have some new pieces up very soon. so sit tight, keep an eye out . . and share the love.

Doodletastic!!

New Canvas, 'Doodletastic' is finished and ready for criticism. It has taken me a few evenings after work to doodle all over the canvas. I used a Brush Pen for a lot of the thicker lines which was a new experience for me and took a little while to get used to.

As the title suggests, this is a doodle, there has been no planning or pre-conceived ideas going into this.

I'm pretty happy with this, and I hope you like it too. - x

Where's The Wise Man

Black marker on canvas. 18'' x 14''

I'm not really sure what was going through my head when i did this. But a friend advised me that I should step out of my own little sketchbook world and produce some finished pieces. I had a couple of canvas' kicking around (the other one is still sitting in wait) and some black markers. would be a bettter idea for me to prime the canvas with something next time so that I have a smoother surface so that the lines are smoother and the pen nibs don't get destroyed.
Anyways. I hope you like.
